ALBERT STRINGFIELD Jr.

STRINGFIELD, ALBERT, JR. - age 86, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, October 4 2012 at Park West Hospital. Albert was born on November 2, 1925 in New River, TN. He was a Member of Calvery Baptist Tabernacle Church. Albert loved to hunt and fish, especially on camping trips with sons and grandchildren. He was a retired Tennessee Highway Patrolman. Albert was a US Navy Veteran and proudly served his country in World War II. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Albert and Oma Stringfield of Sunbright, TN, and brother, Nathaniel Stringfield. He is survived by loving wife of 63 years, Pauline; sons, Randall and wife Sherry Stringfield, Doug and wife Julie Stringfield; daughter, Marsha and Shannon Lovelace; brother, Tommy Stringfield; eight grandchildren, Angie, Matt, Wes, Douglas, Justin and Keith Stringfield, and Scott and Tyler Lovelace; five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Click's Funeral Home, Farragut, on Sunday October 7, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 1:45 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial West.
