Juanita Clinkscales Obituary
Knoxville, TN
Juanita Pearl Clinkscales, age 70, the daughter of the late Reverend William and Lois Foster Hamilton, Sr. of Spartanburg, SC; received her wings to be present with the Lord on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Tennova Turkey Creek Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. Juanita moved to Knoxville at an early age to be with her parents. She was employed with Levi Strauss & Company, prior to attending the Tennessee School of Beauty. Upon receiving her license, she primarily practiced at Salon De Beaute, and Harvest Hair Salon.
She is preceded in death by sister, Patricia Baird. She leaves to cherish her memory: loving children, William Joey (Lucia) Clinkscales of Memphis, TN, Sydney Clinkscales, Sherri Long (Jermaine Flanagan), and Christalyn (Kevin) Cunningham; and brother, William (Kaye) Hamilton Jr., all of Knoxville.
Services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Community Evangelistic Church at 2650 Boyds Bridge Pike. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m., with a celebration of life service to begin at 1:00 p.m., Elder Reginald Strong, officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where a white dove release will conclude the service. Flowers may be delivered to the church the morning of the service. To the Clinkscales family, I was saddened to hear of Ms Juanita being sick i prayed she would pull through it hurts to hear of her passing. She was part of the family and a piece of my heart is broken. I am praying for the family, for she will be missed so much... her beautiful smile and her funny laugh and wonderful singing voice your mother was a beautiful woman...she's in heaven now with my mom and dad and Mrs Brown and Mrs Wanda and the others singing in the heavenly choir. I am truly, truly sorry to hear of this. Juanita and i worked side by side for many years and although we hadn't seen each other in a long time she was still my friend. I remembered she would whip that hair up and put that red lip stick on and she would look like a totally different person. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
