SUMMERS, DANIEL "DANNY" - age 46 of Greenback, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was a 1984 graduate of Lenoir City High School. Danny was a member of Axley's Chapel United Methodist Church and Millwright Union Local 1554. He formerly served in the Air National Guard. Survived by his children, Laura Gail Summers of Knoxville, Katelyn Summers of Johnson City, Daniel and Haley Summers of the home; parents, Burl and Joan Summers of Greenback; brother, Russell Holland and wife Sue, of Concord, NC; sister, Kim Byard and husband Tony, of Loudon; many nieces and nephews; and mother of his children, Misty Summers of Lenoir City. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:30 Saturday at the Axley's Chapel United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Rich Carnes officiating.
