While cuz-Gary never played in the NBA, I remember the twinkle in his eyes when he'd make a hoop ~ playing HORSE in the driveway against Sandra & Sam. That glimmer in his eyes and his smile lit up the world around him. When I find the photos, I will send them to you-Kristi. With love, m

Shocking and Sad. I remember Gary from all of our elementary school days. We used to hold up two fingers to signal to each other that we would take bathroom breaks 2 minutes apart and then we would roam the halls at Woodland for fun. We also had great fun in Ms Vaughn's geometry class. He always had us all laughing. Peace, my friend

So sad to hear of Gary's passing. I only remember him as a little boy riding his big wheel bike up and down my driveway in Oak Ridge. Have faith in God to give you the strength you need in this time.

I am very stunned to hear of Gary's passing. The ORHS class of '89 has truly lost one of it's most funniest individuals. I am preying for Kristie and the kids. God bless and be with you all.

I am deeply saddened by Gary's passing. Back in Mrs. Steven's 4th grade class at Woodland we used compete in math. He was so smart! I still have a newspaper clipping of him from our Little House on the Prarie project that year. All throughout school Gary was always a good friend and I will remember him always as having a kind and generous heart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
