FARMER, GEORGE WESLEY (BUCK) - age 71 of Winston Salem, NC passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. Graduate of Carter High School and a Veteran of the US Marine Corps. Preceded in death by parents James W. Farmer and Helen M. Wilson; grandparents, E.O. and Lil Farmer. Survived by wife of 50 years, Gayle Farmer; son, Jimmy and Dana Farmer of Winston Salem, NC; daughter, Carla Farmer of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Christopher Bayless, Chance Maples, Caitlin Maples, Cassidy Farmer and Wesley Farmer; aunts, Tootle Cates, Kathleen Riddle; sister-in-law, Wanda Rimmer Huff; nieces, Kathy Kesterson, Ginger Kesterson; nephews, Steve Rimmer, William Rimmer; good friends, Reeford, Linda, Dewayne and Mark Douglas. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Stoney Point Cemetery for a graveside service officiated by Rev. William Rimmer.
