KEEN, LYNN SCHWARZENBERG - age 71, of Knoxville, died peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2014. A faithful member of West Hills Presbyterian Church, she served her family, community and Lord with love, dedication and faith. She was a BSF leader for over 25 years; a leader in the Good News Club; the After School Program; held several offices with the Women of the Church, and Outreach with Wednesday Night Programs. She was a Society Reporter for the Knoxville Journal; an employee of Home Federal Bank; Teaching Assistant at Sequoyah Hills Elementary School, and a member of the Knoxville Junior League. Lynn is preceded in death by her husband Richard H. (Peachy) Keen, Sr., and by her parents Oscar and Katherine Schwarzenberg. She touched the lives of many individuals who will never be known. Lynn is survived by son Richard H. (Richie) Keen, Jr. and wife Kelly; sister Cissy S. Noland and husband Rick; nieces and nephews Charlie Noland, Katy Noland, Grant Keen and Laura Keen; cousin Dr. Tracy Dewhirst and husband David; their children, whom Lynn loved like grandchildren, Addie and Wilder Dewhirst; brother-in-law Tommy Keen; cousins Mickey Greg and Sharon Cox. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m., Friday February 14, 2014, Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. John McKenzie and Dr. Fred Fowler officiating. Interment will take place 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, Highland Memorial Cemetery where the family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday preceding the service at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
