PARKER, TYLER JAMES - age 22, of Knoxville, passed away on April 29, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a senior at the University of Tennessee, where he was an English major and an honors ambassador in the Chancellors Honors Program. He is survived by parents, Rick and April Parker of Luttrell, Christine and David Rogers of Corryton; siblings, Evan, Allison and Faith Parker; step siblings, Christian Gosnell, Drew, Kelsea and Joshua Rogers; grandmothers, Shirley Parker of Andersonville and Faye Dubay of Norris; partner, Christopher Brewer; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. At Tyler's request there will be no services at the funeral home. The family will have a graveside service 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
