ANTHONY, VAUGHN LEE - age 78, of Philadelphia, passed away Saturday morning, September 7, 2013, at his home. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Navy. Vaughn was a member of Faith Chapel Ministries and retired from the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by his parents, Molly and Carl Anthony; and sister, Jessie Pipes; brother, Sewall Anthony; and grandson, Conner Weaver. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Lambert Anthony; children, Carmen Anthony, Jenny Crowder and husband, Brian, Mollie Weaver, Dianna Green and husband, J. Farrel, Guy Fitzgerald and Brenda Watkins; grandchildren: Ryan Anthony, Samson Weaver, Dakota Weaver, Chloe Kunkle, Korby Green, Kassondra Henry, Shaun and Heather Fitzgerald, Christina Sentell, Skyler and Lennon Crowder; great grandchildren, Alexzander Henry, Mason and Morgan Sentell; sisters, Mary Hennings, Betty Kaplan and husband, Mike, Jackie Smith, Nancy Hall; nieces; nephews; and special friends, Dominic and Peggy DeCapua; and all of the nurses at UT Hospice. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Faith Chapel Ministries with Rev. Joe Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery with military honors conferred.
