I'm so sad to hear about this. Steve and his team mate, the other Steve, welcomed myself and my wife to their paddock during the WERA Endurance that was running in Fontana. He was campaigning on a SV650.

They really didn't know us from Adam, we were "strangers from the internet", but there we were, in the pit. He was so welcoming and friendly. We later went out to dinner at Outback, and the team went on back across the continent.

We met up with them next year when the series came back to Willow, like old friends, and had another wonderful time with them as they got 3rd in class that day.

After that, WERA Endurance never came back to the west coast, only as far as Vegas, and we couldn't manage to get out there.

But we fondly remember our two little events with Steve, and are sadden to hear of his passing.

God speed, and God Bless Steve and his family and friends.

Today I remember the life you lived & the things you taught me. Holding onto that is all I have left to remember you by.. Gone but never forgotten!!! R.I.P Steve..
Praying for the family in this hard time. May God lightened their hearts & give them peace within. This earth has lost a warm hearted person but God has gained an Angel..
Steve coached me in Basketball when he was in his late teens. And I know he probably never changed because of all these comments on here of his good natured personality. He was always all smiles that's one thing he had for sure. He will surely be missed. I'll be praying for all the family too.. Not just now... but in the upcoming months too because grieving will go on well beyond a few weeks.. Take Care

I was honored to be a part of Steve's life and hold both Steve and Chris as close friends. I am sorry to hear about Steve's passing and will miss his comaraderie. Steve took the time to introduce me into both road racing and automotive based painting along with hours and hours of conversations and help with the subjects. I will never forget his first points of advice to me as I prepared for my first motorcycle race and his joy of seeing my success when his wisdom was applied. Steve is the type of guy everyone should be, I will miss him.
