LOVE, BONNY FLICKINGER - age 55, went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2014. She was a woman of strong character. She wore many hats well- wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and more. Together with her husband, Walter Love, they were the proud owners of Love that BBQ. Thanks to Bonny's way of making customers feel like friends and family, it was like they were home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Pappy and Evelyn Smith, Lillian and Leon Flickinger; grandmother, Bonnie Collins; uncle, Bobby Smith; father-in-law, Harding Love; and brother-in-law, Michael Shane Love. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband of 34 years, Walt Love; children, Cortney Love Axley, Chad Love, Chelsea Love Duncan and husband Michael; grandchildren, Zadie Love, Taegan Axley, Skylah Axley, Kaylie Duncan, and soon-to-be baby, Autumn Duncan; parents, Robert and Barbara Flickinger; mother-in-law, Lucy Love; brothers, Timmy Flickinger, Travis Flickinger and wife Hilary; brothers-in-law, Stanley Love, Bill Love and wife Renee; sister-in-law, Bonnie Love Howell and husband David; niece, Darby Flickinger; and so many more extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, January 31st, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Dana Fachman officiating. The graveside service is at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville on Saturday, February 1st, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation at Regions Bank to establish a scholarship fund for her grandchildren.
