JOHNSON, DEANA LYNNE MCBEE - age 46 of Corryton, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013, after a long struggle with kidney disease since childhood and Type I Diabetes. She was a member of Corryton Baptist Church. After graduating from Gibbs High School, she attended Walters State Community College. She worked for several years in the medical field. Preceded in death by grandparents, Lloyd and Eileen Oaks McBee, Carl and Birdie Browning Pate; special great-grandmother, Gertie Thomas Oaks. Survivors: parents, Johnny and Sandy McBee of Corryton; brother, Russ McBee of Knoxville; aunts and uncles, Phyllis and Jerry Browning, Judy Morrison, Marie and Marvin Boruff, Nancy and Terry Dalton, Betty and Jackie Parker; great-aunts, Lucille Browning and Grace Browning; cousins, Ben, Scott, Kristi, Tim, Tara, Dana, Jeff, Kelli, Missy, Sonya and Tammy. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Rutherford Memorial Methodist Church (Corryton Road and Foster Road). Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Damon Patterson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Clapps Chapel Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service and interment. Rev. Steve Doyal officiating.
