GUYDON, JOSEPH LEROY, SR. - 46, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Joe was born in Michigan City, Indiana on October 28, 1966 to Samuel Alfred Guydon, Sr., and Cathryn Wiggins Guydon. Joe resided in Michigan City until the family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1974. He was a 1985 graduate of Austin-East High School in Knoxville. He attended Tennessee State University in Nashville on a football scholarship, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Business. Joseph was a 15 year employee of Bridgestone in Laverne, TN. Joe was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dwenette; three children, Cathryn, Joey Jr., and Joshua; seven siblings, Charla (Gregory) White, Woodbridge, VA, Chauna (Saint) Williams, St. Louis, MO, Vincent (Sharon) Guydon, Oklahoma City, OK, Samuel (Ketelie) Guydon, Jr., Symrna,TN, Valeryn "Felicia" Stewart, Knoxville, TN, Kelleigh Guydon, and Adrian "Charles" Guydon, both of Nashville; aunts, Mattie (Richard) Ragland, Barbara Kitchen and Peggy Nixon; uncle, Leroy (Brenda) Wiggins, all of Knoxville; 21 nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends. Services were held 12/8/12 in Brentwood, TN under the direction of New Generation Funeral Home.
