Pauline Leila Cloyd

CLOYD, PAULINE LEILA - 89 of Oak Ridge, passed away at Methodist Medical Center on January 1, 2011. She was born in Kentucky on February 14, 1921 to parents Ray and Stella Compton Elliott. Mrs. Cloyd retired from the Oak Ridge School System where she had been a teacher at Willowbrook Elementary School and she was a member of Kern Memorial United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger W. Cloyd and grandson, Jeffrey Matthew Allen. Survivors include: daughters, Pam Allen and husband, Terry, of Oak Ridge; and son, Philip Allen and wife, Erin, of Fountain City, Denise Sawyer, Charlotte, North Carolina; and son, Cameron Sawyer and wife, Sarah of Durham, North Carolina. The family will receive friends this evening (Monday) from 6 - 7 PM in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary. The family requests that memorials be in the form of donations to their charity of choice. An entombment service will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Don Morris officiating. An online guest book may be signed at weatherfordmortuary.com
