DAILEY, RACHEL ELIZABETH INMAN - age 84 of Lenoir City, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 2, 2012 at her home. Rachel was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Vernon Dailey, Sr.; daughter, Patsy Childress Smith; parents, P.A. and Annie McKinney Inman; sisters: Lillie Mae Sweat, Ruth Williams, Betty Dailey, and Margie Parton; brother, Jimmy Inman. She is survived by her children: Sandy Russell and husband, Harold, Carl V. Dailey, Jr. and wife, Donna all of Lenoir City; special nephew, Bobby Dailey; grandchildren: Dwayne Gresham and wife, Samantha, Nesha Maples and husband, Tim, Richy Swalley and wife, Sarah, Dana and Cierra Dailey; great-grandchildren: Brandon Russell, David, Angel, Jamie, Chris, T. J., Jordan, and Sissy Maples, Tanner, Jacob and Hannah Swalley, Christian and Cailey Gresham; great great grandchildren, Cloi and Sophie Russell; sister, Barbara James of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Rev David Latham will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 a.m. graveside services and interment.
