MCANDREWS, RAYMOND H., JR. - age 67 of Powell, born November 29, 1945 in Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 after 75 days in the hospital suffering from kidney and lung complications following a foot infection and surgery. He attended Wilson High School and graduated from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a professional engineer designing buildings, as well as working in environmental and nuclear engineering. He was a member of New Covenant Fellowship, Knoxville, TN. He was a devout follower of Jesus. He never met a stranger. He loved to read, enjoyed music and tennis and discussing politics. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa. Survived by parents, Ray and Betty McAndrews; wife of 43 years, Pamela (Craig) McAndrews; daughters, Melissa and husband, Tony Linscott, Shannon and husband Richard Dixon, Carrie and husband Jeff Wylie; son David McAndrews; grandchildren, Machaira, Savannah, Bailey, Brett and Benaiah; sisters, Betty and husband Chuck McKee, Pam Baldwin; sister-in-law, Sue and husband Ron Miller; several nieces and nephews and their children. Receiving of friends will be Friday, January 25, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm followed by a memorial service at New Covenant Fellowship, 6828 Central Avenue Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918 with Pastor Russ Porcella officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through New Covenant Fellowship Church at the above address.
