Raymond McConkey Obituary

MCCONKEY, MRS. RAYMOND "POLLY" - 87, of Englewood, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her residence. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McConkey; parents, Jim and Tina Cochran; 2 brothers, R. C. Cochran and James Cochran; mother and father-in-law, Dewey and Geneva McConkey. Mrs. McConkey was co-owner of Allied Hosiery Mill in Englewood, TN. Survivors include, 1 sister, Ida Lee Martin of Englewood, TN; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Clara Cochran of Englewood, TN, and Claude and Brenda Cochran of Englewood, TN; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at McMinn Memory Gardens with Minister David Cathy officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 17th, in the South Chapel, of Bordwine Funeral Home. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah in charge of arrangements. If you are unable to attend, you may sign the guest registry at www.bordwinefuneralhome.com.
