HEATH, ROBERT GLENN - 78 of Maynardville, TN, son of Everett and Ida Heath, loving husband of Judith Ann Heath, passed away on April 30th at his home in Maynardville, TN after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Heath; and two sons, Robert John Heath and Mark Allen Heath and wife, Barbara; daughter, Trudy Ann Rutherford and husband Dr. Rutherford and daughter in law, Tammy Sue Heath; widow of Dave Glenn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Matthew, Johnathan, Justin, Mark Anthony, Joseph, Davida, Tiffany and April and five great grandchildren, Isaac, Lucas, Brodie, Makayla and Ariel all living in the Maynardville and Knoxville areas; brother, James Heath; sisters, Wilma Harper, Marion Sutton, Norma Cardwell, Shirley English. Bob was preceded in death by grandfather, William Blazer; parents, Everett and Ida Heath; aunts, Stella and Ella Blazer; sister, Helen Bales and son, Dave Glenn Heath. Bob was baptized at Salem Baptist Church. He worked as a proud farmer for most of his life. He also was an avid student of Genealogy and a great fan of and former participant in automobile racing. He loved hunting all things outdoors in general. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Receiving of friends will be held Friday May 2 at Byrd's Mortuary from 5:00 until 7 :00 p.m. with funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Perry Jones will preside over the services. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Saturday May 3 at the McCloud family cemetery in Halls Crossroads for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
