CLARKSON, THELMA DELORES, age 72, formerly of Knoxville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior December 22, 2012. She will be welcomed home by many friends and family gone on before, but most importantly, the love of her life, her husband of 48 years, Robert L. Clarkson and granddaughters, Alicia and Angela Clarkson. Thelma is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Bob Mason of Louisville; sons, Mike Clarkson of Knoxville, Randy Clarkson of Louisville and Ike Clarkson and wife, Laura, of Chattanooga; grandchildren include Jennifer and T.J. Foshee, Crystal Godsey Clarkson, Anthony Clarkson and wife, Sissie, Sheena Clarkson and Tim, Courtney Clarkson, Lee Clarkson and wife, Dana, Chris Henderlight and Kimmi, Kurt Henderlight and Jordan, Amanda Mason and Amado, Allen Mason and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren include Makayla and Lillie; daughters of Crystal, Adam Clarkson; son of Sheena, Christian and Camilla Mason; children of Amanda, Tara and Levi; children of Lee; special niece, Linda Loy; daughter-in-law Brenda Clarkson; special friend and sister in Christ, Voilet Bedford. The many nieces, nephews and long time family friends who loved her are too many to mention as Thelma was loved by many and will be sadly missed. We wish to thank the team at Ft. Sanders Hospital, 7th floor staff and Covenant and Tennova Hospice for the care she received while there. The family will receive friends at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel on Adair Drive on Thursday, December 27 from 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. with chapel service to follow at 1:30 P.M. Pastor Roy Rowe officiating.
