MOORE, WALTER LEON (SONNY) - passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was born in St. Frances Co., Arkansas, August 3, 1941 and moved to Knoxville at age twelve. He retired from Pepsi Bottling Co. after 36 years of service and later went to work for Lemon X Juice Co. for five years and retired again because of poor health. Preceded in death by parents, Grover and Mildred Moore and sister, Betty Gay Kirby. Survived by wife of 53 years, Patricia Hyde Moore; daughter, Libby Phillips; sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Teresa and Donald (Donnie) and Diana Moore; grandchildren, Erick and Lindsey Moore, Dustin and Megan Moore, Ashley Anne Moore, Josh Phillips, Megan Philips, McKenzie Moore, Brooke Moore, Skyler Moore and Pattie Moore; great grandchildren, Eli, Kayla and Rance; sisters-in-law, Bennie (Bob) Walk and Billie Licklighter; brother-in-law, Mike (Dorothy) Hyde. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Dr. Jack Arwood officiating.
