AMOS, EMMA LEE - age 96, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Savannah Amos; seven brothers and sisters, Smith Amos, Fred Amos, Raymond Amos, Flora Amos, Artie Amos, Edna Anderson, and Faye Dyer. She is survived by a sister, Nell Wilkerson, of Lenoir City; and several nieces and nephews. She was retired from Charles H. Bacon Hosiery Mill and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday morning, March 13th, at Click Funeral Home from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will then proceed to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir City for graveside services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mickey Oliver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "Matthew's Place", c/o New Testament Baptist Church, P.O. Box 897, Loganville, GA 30052. "Matthew's Place" is a family life center to be constructed in memory of her nephew, Matthew Oliver, who died of cancer at the age of 17. This facility will be used to reach young people for Christ.
