WADE, WARREN E. - 64, died suddenly, Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at his residence in Sulphur, Louisiana. A native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Warren was a High School golden gloves state champion and a member of the 1967 Fulton High School undefeated football team. He was a founding member of the Oak Ridge Boy's club and also a high school certified umpire and referee, as well as a boxing coach. Following his education, Warren enlisted in the United States Marines and was a Vietnam veteran. While his career was in sales, he loved to be anywhere near water and was an avid fisherman who loved his family very dearly. He is survived by sons, Marcus O. Wade, (Penny), Jason Wade, (Juanita); three grandchildren, Brilyn Wade, Kollison Wade and Sara Wade; two brothers, Jimmie Wade and John Wade. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Wade and mother, Helen Vandergriff Wade. The family will receive friends at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 13th. from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow. Friends and family will gather on Friday, March 14th, at 9:30 a.m. at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for an interment with military honors.
