COLLINS, JOHN MORGAN JR. - age 84, of Etowah, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday morning, March 12, 2014, at his home. John was veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Collins; great grandson, Joseph Dalton Collins; parents, John Morgan Collins and Annie Lee Duggan Collins; brothers and sisters, Marion N. Collins, Golda L. Collins, Fannie S. Garner, George A. Collins, Joan M. Collins, Margarett A. Collins and Eddie W. Collins. Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Collins, Mitch and Carolyn Collins; grandchildren, Amanda Collins, Jason Collins and wife, Kara, Morgan Collins, and Megan Thurman and husband, Zach; great grandchildren, Emma Palmer, Anna Collins, Olivia Collins, Auriana Collins, John Collins and Alexis Thurman; brothers, Floyd Lee Collins and Gary Collins; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Burial will follow in the Lenoir City Cemetery. Military honors will be conferred by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard.
