MULL, HORACE H. "BUDDY" - age 90, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 14, 2014. Buddy retired from the United States Air Force after serving his country during WWII, where he flew B-24's during his tour. He later retired from TVA where he served as Director of Construction for many years and was a former President of the Board of (BVI) the Bicentennial Volunteers Inc. He is preceded in death by wife, Jane M. Mull; daughter, Sandra Long; son, Rodney H. Mull; brother, Presnell Mull; and sister, Betty Nagel. Survivors include his children, Beth Smith, Carol Mull, Lori Mull, and Richard (Sherry) Mull; grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Leslie and John (Julia) Long; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Meagan Long and Maxwell and Violet Leslie; caregivers, Betty Kidd, Vickie Lyons, and Mae Emert; and many dear friends and neighbors that were a special part of his life. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Highland Memorial Funeral Home, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with interment immediately following in the Highland Memorial Park, with military honors.
