ALEXANDER, MARJORIE BLEVINS - age 80, of Knoxville, died peacefully Saturday, April 12, 2014. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a wonderful friend. She was a member of Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, Akima Club, the Knoxville Garden Club, and was an avid volunteer in the community. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Iva Blevins; her devoted and loving husband, James Suddath Alexander; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James S. Alexander and wife Lucinda ; daughter and son-in-law, Kim Alexander Hutchins and husband David ; her five grandchildren, Craig Alexander, Brent Alexander, Courtney Hutchins, Alex Hutchins, and Suddath Hutchins; and her two great grandchildren, Edith and Everett Alexander. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014, Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church with Dr. L. Holton Siegling, Dr. Michael Stanfield and Rev. Mark Lampley officiating. Interment will take place 10:00 a.m. preceding the service, Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Barron Hall following the memorial service.
