NATION, HELEN - of Clinton, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Summit View Nursing Home of Lake City. She was born on July 17, 1921. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Nation; adopted son, Carl James Hinkle; parents Gertrude Payne Hinkle and Millard Hinkle; sisters, Goldie Frazier of Morley, TN, Viola Daugherty of Lake City; brothers, Charles (Chaulk) Hinkle, and Lester Hinkle both of Knoxville, Jay Hinkle of LaFollette, and Chester Hinkle of Newcomb. Survivors: 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Emogene Hinkle; a special niece/foster daughter, Linda Braden; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation: 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service: 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
