KELLY, JOHN "JACK" M. - age 72, recently of Knoxville, Tennessee, and formerly of Marlboro, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, June 01, 2014. Jack was a long time parishioner of St. Gabriel's. He was the owner and operator of Service Refrigerated Transport. Jack had served in the US Navy from 1960 - 1964 on the USS Blandy, which was best known for raising a Russian submarine during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a fierce saltwater fisherman and later enjoyed spending time on the golf course. Jack enjoyed traveling and was a true family man. He genuinely loved his wife, children, and grandkids more than anything else. Jack was preceded in death by his father, John C. Kelly and his mother, Theresa Kelly. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Georgiann Kelly; children, Jack Kelly and wife Lisette, Kristine Troyan and husband Rod, Amy Cooper and husband Ted; grandchildren, Lisa, Lauren, Taylor, Jack, Michael, and Sofia Kelly, Harrison, Barron, and Sam Troyan; siblings, Donna Martin and husband Peter, of Wilmington, NC, Dennis Kelly and wife Silja. The family will receive on Thursday, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, which will be immediately followed by a Rosary Service. The family will then again receive friends on Friday, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel, followed by the funeral at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends will then travel in procession to Highland Memorial Cemetery for the entombment service.
