THOMAS O. (TOMMY) LINDSEY III Obituary
LINDSEY, THOMAS O., III (TOMMY) - age 41, of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014. Tommy was a member of Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Tommy was a kind and generous man who would always assist anyone in need. His greatest passion was spending time with his wife and children. Tommy was an outdoorsman who enjoyed rock climbing, camping, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his dad, Mark Swope: grandparents, Nellie Stover, and Bill and Mary Scott; uncle, Larry Morris; and cousin, PFC Patrick Fitzgibbon. Tommy is survived by his wife, Lauren C. Lindsey; children, Ethan and Ellie Lindsey; mother, Peggy Swope; brothers, William Lindsey and James Swope; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, with a celebration of life to follow at 4:00 p.m. at Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials for his children may be made to ORNL Credit Union, P.O. Box 365, Oak Ridge, TN 3783, payable to: "Lauren Lindsey Donation Account."
