I was devastated to hear of dear Benton's passing. He was in my English class his sophomore year and always brought light and laughter to every lesson. He was intelligent and gentle. I just realized I missed his service, and I am pretty upset that I let it pass by. I had fully intended on being there. This has left a hole that will never be filled. My prayers and thoughts are with Benton's family and friends during this time of extreme grief.

John & Judy your son was such a great blessing to me. He was there for my son Billy in one of the greatest and darkest times of his life. When my son Billy Maples was in Nashville with his daughter, Benton was right there by his side every step of the way. He would bring light during a dark and gloomy time. Making all of us laugh until we cried. And when Savannah died, Benton was there to lift my son up. Thank you for raising such a sweet, caring wonderful young man. One that will forever hold a dear place in my family's heart. I just hope Savannah hasn't already worn him out. We all will meet again. so I didn't say good bye to Benton, just I'll see you later and to try not to spoil my granddaughter too much. As you know he will. Thoughts and prayers with you all

Benton I only had the pleasure of meeting you a few times. But each time you always had that big smile on your face and the laughter that was contagious. You were taken from us way to soon and you will be greatly missed by many. I still can't believe this has happened but Your up there with God looking down on all of us.
