HANCOCK, ZELMA GREGORY - age 83, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. A member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Zelma was retired from food services with Knox County Schools, having worked 26 years at Carter Middle and High Schools. Preceded in death by husband of 46 years, Carroll (Buster) Jackson Hancock; parents, Wade and Flossie Gregory; brothers, Ronald and Bud Gregory; sisters, Bernice Bivens and Mable Saffels. Survived by son, Timothy (Iris) Hancock; daughters, Vickey (Stanley) Morell and Robbin Patterson; grandchildren, Joey (Kristy) Morell, Wendy (David) Lavan, Holly (Josh) Hancock, Kendra (Justin) Smith, Tyler Patterson and Bethany Hancock; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy, Kathy, Sharon, and Wanda; special friends, Mary Francis Wells and Gracie Fawver. The family would prefer memorials go to Lost Sheep Ministries, 1444 Breda Dr. Knoxville, TN 37918. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at Pollard Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Jim Clayton officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike,
