GRUBB, RALPH ROBERTSON - age 86 of Lenoir City passed away Sunday evening, August 3, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Ralph was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of American Legion Post #70. He was a retired truck driver and former school bus driver. Preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Grubb Martin; parents, Pink Grubb and Beatrice Grubb Hopper, and brothers, Earl and Wallace Grubb. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Alice Alexander Grubb; sons, Ralph T. Grubb and wife, Melissa, John Grubb and fiancee', Debbie Brown; grandsons, Travis and Mitchell Grubb; granddaughters, Jessica Grubb, Kyra and Michaela Grubb, and Taylor Crump; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jonathan Egan, Jr.; sister, Martha Hill; mother of his children, Leona (Susie) Davis; several nieces, nephews and special friends, Bob and Mae Siling. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the nurses and aides of Home Health Care of East Tennessee for their care and support. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Chasteen and Rev. Ottis Ball officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Wednesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 11:00 a.m. graveside services.
