BLUFORD, MARGARET W. - age 81, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Ben Atchley State Veteran's Home. Margaret was a member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City where she also worked with the pre-school day care. She was a volunteer at Parkwest Medical Center since 1978 with 33,426 hours of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bluford; parents, Pearly and Nellie White; and sister, Shirley Gerry. Survivors include her sons, Chaplain David Bluford (Mary), and Mike Bluford (Cindy); grandsons, Jeff (Kelli), Kevin, Chris (fiancée, Taylor) and R. K. (Allison); granddaughter, Christy (Tim); great grandchildren, Jake, Morgan and Zakk; sisters, Pearl Lashley and Linda Williams; brothers, Gene White (Lottie), Bob White (Debbie) and Ron White (Jean); sister-in-law, JoAnne O'Bannon (Tom); brothers-in-law, Donald Bluford and Pat Gerry; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 15th, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Chaplain David Bluford officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, in the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chaplain's Fund at Parkwest Medical Center.
