I was General Counsel for the Corporation while Martin was the head of the Patent Section at ORNL-----without a doubt Martin and his group were responsible for all of the patent work at the Lab --what an outstanding leader ---he will always be remembered for his competence ---how fortunate all us were to have his knowledge ( unequaled by anyone) available to represent the inventors in this most complicated area of law -- he was a good and kind leader ----he will be sorely missed .G. I met Martin through the Tennessee Inventors Association. He has been an inspiration to many over the years. A caring and passionate man in whatever endeavors he was involved in.
He was a good man, very good.
