GIBSON, ABBY (ABIGAIL) ELLIOTT - born November 30, 1999, passed away June 3, 2010 at UT Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She died doing what she loved most...riding horses. Abby was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Don and Virginia Elliott; great-grandfather, Elder John Foster; and great-grandmother, Barbara Little Gibson. She is survived by her loving mother, Jennifer Gibson; (nana) Donna Foster; (papaw) Greg Gibson; uncle, Todd Gibson; (Mimi) Erma Foster; uncle and aunt, Steve and Debbie Foster; and a host of other relatives; plus special friends, Doug and Carol Ellis and Jan Dore; also, her father and step-mother, Jonathan and Lauren Clay and his family. Thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at UT Medical Center Trauma Unit who valiantly worked to save our precious girl. Abby was a rising fifth grader, at New Hopewell Elementary School. She loved spending time with her family, reading, biking, swimming and being outside. Her dream was to one day be a veterinarian and take care of all the animals she loved. In respect of her dreams, we are requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support The Abby Gibson Scholarship Fund at UT Veterinarian School that we will be establishing. Donations may be made at Citizen's National Bank of Sevierville, 10225 Chapman Highway, Seymour, TN 37865, in care of Abby Gibson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
