THOMAS, CHARISSA SPRATLIN - 50, of Suwanee, GA passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012. A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of Fanita "Faye" Crook Spratlin and the late Theodore Spratlin and was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Spratlin. She was a real estate agent and a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, TN, having just moved back to Suwanee, GA. A wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and friend too many; Clarissa was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. She has now gone to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by so many. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Steven Thomas of Suwanee, GA; sister, Melissa Vaughn and husband, Tommy of Braselton, GA; nieces, Amadea Groseclose and husband, Mathew, Ginny Shoup, Christy Spratlin Blanchett; nephew, Jason Spratlin, and great-nieces, Victoria Shoup and Serenity Shoup. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Crook officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at Bernstein. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
