HUTCHESON, JOHN LEE - age 85, of Andersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Lee was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 25, 1927, to the late Lee and Florence Bournes Hutcheson. He was a member of the United States Coast Guard. Lee worked as a fireman for the City of Miami. He attended the University of Miami which led him to be a fan of Hurricane football. In his later years, he loved to travel and he enjoyed bowling and golfing with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Lee is preceded in death by his sister, Bernice and her husband, Frank Dzamba. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruby; daughter, Vicki Long and husband, Bennie; brother, Wally Bournes and wife, Shirley; grandchildren, Carmen and Anthony Hill, and Ben Long; great grandkids, Jackson, Avery and Lincoln Hill.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 with Father Bill Gahagan officiating. Graveside service will follow with full military honors at Norris Memorial Gardens. The family is asking that, in lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department.
