JIMMY WATSON Obituary

WATSON, JIMMY ERNEST, CPO (RET.) U.S.N. - age 73, of Sevierville, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. He served 22 years in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Watson was a member of Myrtle Grove Masonic Lodge 352 in Pensacola, Florida for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Ella Watson; brother, Johnny Watson; and sister, Freda Clabough. Survivors include: wife, Carolyn Whaley Watson; son, Mark C. Watson; grandchildren, Jordan Taylor Watson FC3 U.S. Navy, Elizabeth Watson, Bailey Watson, Mark C. Watson II; brother, David "Butch" Watson and wife, Betty; sisters, Betty Williams and husband, Bob, Peggy Jackson and husband, Charles, Ruth Murrell and husband, Dale; sisters-in-law, Joan Thurman, Kay Trent and husband, Larry; brothers-in-law, Harold Clabough, Larry Whaley and wife, Joice, Gary Whaley and wife, Molly, Pat Whaley and wife Kay; many special nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 or to the charity of your choice. Family and friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Middle Creek Cemetery graveside service and interment. A veteran's organization chaplain will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Layman, Jim Tarwater, David Russell, Stephen Russell, Bailey Watson, Mark C. Watson, II.
