NORTON, CHARLES KENNETH - age 91, of Sevierville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014. He was a member of First Baptist Church Seymour. Charles was an Army WWII Veteran of the 752nd Artillery Battery A, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of Kerbela Shrine as part of the director staff, and a Mason with Masonic Lodge #334. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Velma Creswell Norton; brothers, Homer C. Norton and C. A. Norton; sisters, Anna Ruth Leahy and Lois Biagiotti. Survivors include wife of 70 years, Estalee Rose Norton; daughters, Janet Norton Householder and husband Gary of Seymour, Sandra Norton Whitener of Dandridge; grandchildren, Audra Webb and husband Dr. Michael Webb of Seymour, Andrea Bullington and husband Rob of Knoxville, Crystal Chambers of Knoxville, John-Norton Samples of Dandridge; great grandchildren, Aidan Webb, Kennedy Bullington, Noah Duncan Catchpole; sister, Bettye Lou Jones of Nashville; several nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Wendy Dickenson, Fay Cannon, Susan Hartman, Debbie Johnson, Mildred Norton, and Pam James. Family will receive friends 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 with funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, with Pastor Bruce Yates officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Boyd's Creek Cemetery, with military honors provided by American Legion Post 104.
