Jimmy Mantooth Obituary

Jimmy L. Mantooth

New Market, TN

Jimmy L. Mantooth, age 61, of New Market, TN passed away Friday morning, January 27, 2017, at Select Specialty North Health Center. He was a retired employee of the Asarco Mines, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Mantooth. He is survived by his sons, Dustin (Robin) Mantooth and Brandon Mantooth; grandson, Mitchell Mantooth; mother, Dorothy Mantooth; sisters, Debbie Baxter, Shelia Dennis and Jeanie Schemwall; brothers, Jacky Mantooth and Chuck Mantooth.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Jimmy Mantooth will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. at the French Broad Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Ron Wine officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
