BUTLER— Patricia A. Collingsworth, 78, died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at DeKalb Health, Auburn.

Mrs. Collingsworth worked for more than 20 years at Universal Tool and Stamping in Butler, and 12 years for the DeKalb County Sheriff's department as dietary cook at the county jail, retiring in 1999.
She was born April 13, 1935, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Roscoe A. and Irene M. (Mack) Husted. She married Luther R. Collingsworth on Nov. 13, 1954 in Hicksville, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2011.
She is a member of the Butler Eagles and a former member of the Jolly Jane Club.
She enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
Surviving are two daughters and one son, Deborah (Mike) Wasson of Butler, Tamara (Dan) Carper of Butler, and Jeffrey (Tina) Collingsworth of Butler; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; James Husted of Rock Hill, South Carolina, William Husted of Auburn, Indiana, John Husted of Rogers, Arkansas and Rick Husted of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three sisters; Sharon McConnell of Butler, Indiana, Karen (Francis) Blaker of Butler, Indiana and Rita Purk of Montpeliar, Ohio.
Services are Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Butler Church of the Nazarene, 500 N. Beech St., Butler, with Pastor Paul Patton officiating.
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Butler Cemetery.
