FORT WAYNE — Ralph R. Kugler Sr., 86, died Monday, April 7, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Kugler was a truck driver with Ryder for 34 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of First Christian Church, American Legion Post 330, VFW 2457, Eagle 248, Moose Lodge, Navy Club, and was a Teamsters Retiree Club 414 chairman.
Born in Williams County, Ohio, Mr. Kugler was a Korean War Marine veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Freda Kugler of Fort Wayne; four sons Malen (Marie) Kugler and Ralph (Kim) Kugler Jr., both of Pleasant Lake, and James (Betty) Biggs and Thomas "Art" (JoAnn) Biggs, both of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jay and Mary Kugler; two sons, Jack and Larry Biggs; two sisters; and a great-great-great-granddaughter, Lilliana Preston.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with Pastor Mike Cain officiating. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
Calling will be at the funeral home Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral services Saturday.
