AUBURN — Leonard E. Clark, 89, of Auburn passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at DeKalb Health in Auburn.
Leonard was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Fremont to Elvin and Marian (Sebert) Clark.
After graduating from high school, Leonard joined the military serving during World War II for the United States Army. When he returned from the service, he graduated from Indiana University.
He worked as an accountant for Stockberger Machinery in Fort Wayne where he later retired.
He was a member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church and the DeKalb Masonic Lodge #214.
He married Patricia J. Page on June 23, 1951, in Kendallville, and she passed away Jan. 28, 2001.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Jesse Knowles of Auburn; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Jeannette Clark of Naperville, Illinois; six grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Suzanne Lindsay, Jonathan and Amanda Knowles, Kelly and Ed VanGessel, Michael and Abby Knowles, Timothy Clark, and Katelyn Clark; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Curie of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Betty Clark; and a brother-in-law, Frank Curie.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with the Rev. Wilbur Yates officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
