Susan Goshorn Obituary
Sue was born on July 23, 1950, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Eugene Gerald Riede and Patricia Irene (Milliman) Elliget. They preceded her in death.
She married LeRoy F. Goshorn on April 25, 1980, in Angola, Indiana.
She worked as a Tupperware sales manager for six years.
Her family was her life. She was a member of St. Paul Chapel, and served in the church choir, religion education classes, and the church boosters club, and was a past treasurer, and was past president of the Fremont school P.T.O., volunteer helper at the elementary gym classes, past president of the school music boosters, and was a Girl Scouts leader and service teams leader.
Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Goshorn of Fremont, Indiana; four daughters, Connie Fockler of Sanford, Florida, Valerie and Danny Rodgers of Munster, Indiana, Christina Colclasure of Fremont, Indiana, and Michelle and Mike Friend of Fremont, Indiana; a son, Brent Goshorn of Coldwater, Michigan; ten grandchildren, Joe Gannon, Carley Fockler, Justin Gannon, Deven Rodgers, Carissa Fockler, Abigail Hostetler, Alexandra Friend, Jayce Colclasure, Mackenzie Friend and Kameron Colclasure; and three brothers, Joe and Beth Riede of Des Moines, Iowa, John and Diane Riede of Tekonsha, Michigan, and Daniel and Shirley Milliman of Angola, Iniana.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday August 12, 2014, at St. Paul Catholic Chapel, Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana.
A funeral Mass will follow the calling hours at 1 p.m. Tuesday August 12, 2014, at St. Paul Catholic Chapel, Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana, with Father Wilfrid Logsdon officiating.
Memorials are to St. Paul Catholic Chapel Building Fund.

Sending thoughts, prayers, and condolences to Sue's daughters, husband, family, and friends. I graduated from high school with Val, and I know all of her sisters. Val and I played together as kids, and Sue always welcomed me into her home. What a great lady!

My thoughts and prayers are with Sue's family. Sue was a great lady and above all, I know how much her family meant to her. I knew Valerie and Chris from school and I saw how proud Sue was of them first hand. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be very much missed but I also know that she will live on strongly in her family's memories. I pray for strength and comfort in the coming days - especially today.

So sorry for your loss. Susan has been on my mind for some time. I was Susan's first babysitter, then was there for Joe, & John till 1956. I have lots of great memories of spending time with them and their Mom (Pat). We lived on Orchard St, in Coldwater, Mi. across the street. God Bless all of her family and friends. I am sitting here thinking about the first time Gmom came into my life. Chris was pregnant with Joey and she came to my home to help me with tupperware orders. From then on we have been family. I have nothing but wonderful memories with our families and will cherish them always. All of the laughs and even the sorrows we have shared together. My heart is so empty right now thinking about coming home to Indiana and not being able to see Mom's smiling face and not being able to get a big hug and kiss from her. Or hearing her say "chop chop Lori Gayle". My love for all of you will never change. Love Lori

Thinking of you all and holding you close to my heart. G-mom has touched so many lives, with her smile, wisdom and love. Her wonderful smile would always light up the room. Her wisdom, she shared inspired everyone around her. But most of all her love she shared was so real and from the heart to anyone and every one. We are all very sorry for your loss. We also know the pain of losing a parent, but the suffering is over.
