Lee Gonser, longtime Ellensburg resident and former Deputy Sheriff, died November 23rd.
He passed away peacefully in the presence of family. Lee was born June 4th, 1927 in Wenatchee, WA.
Lee is survived by his wife Hazel of 57 years, son Terry, daughter Robin, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lee served in both the Army and Air Force and earned honors in WWII. He served 21 years with Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and retired in 1987.
A public memorial and military funeral honors will be held Saturday December 8th at 2pm at the American Legion.
The family gives special thanks to the doctors and staff at KVCH.
