Cindy-Lei Angelique Burris, 44, died on April 23, 2014, at home in Ellensburg. She was born May 30, 1969, in Burbank, California to Harvey and Samuella Beagle. She was a resident of Kittitas County for 25 years. Cindy worked as a waitress in a few of the local restaurants in town. She also attended CWU where she had almost received her teaching degree. She loved to listen to music loudly and go dancing. She also loved reading and crocheting.
She is survived by her father, Harvey Beagle, of Yakima; Brothers James "Jim" Holmes of Illinois, Steven Neil of Yakima, Jeremy Neil of Oregon, and Christopher Neil of Arizona; Cousin Ron Avery of Olympia; Her children Jonathan Zacharias of Ellensburg, Jennifer Heston of Enumclaw, David "DJ" Castro of Kennewick, Amber Burris of Yakima/Tieton, and Zachary Burris of Ellensburg. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Helen Constatine and Kathleen Avery; Her grandfather Charles "Papa" Avery; Her mother Samuella Beagle; Step-father Theodore Neil; Husband David Burris and son Robert Burris.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014, at Brookside Funeral Home (101 E. 2nd Ave) from 10am-5pm and again at 11:30am on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Ellensburg Foursquare Church (906 E.
