Linda Sue Hansberry
With family members at her side, Linda Sue Hansberry went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 2, 2014. She was 68 years old. Linda was born to Henry and Mildred Brown in Fordyce, Arkansas on April 3, 1946. Her family moved to Ellensburg where she attended school through the 11th grade, then moved to Hardin Montana, where she graduated high school. While attending school in Ellensburg, she met the love of her life, Don Hansberry. The two were married on September 19, 1964 at the First Lutheran Church in Ellensburg. After raising two boys and working for 15 years at CWU Holmes Dining Hall, she devoted her time to Don and crafting. Some of Linda's favorite hobbies included painting, card making and embroidery. Linda had many friends that she enjoyed crafting and playing Bunco with. She loved anything that involved family and friends, including long car trips and camping.
She is lovingly survived by her family; husband Don of 49 years; sons David (Tina) of Cle Elum, Dan (Kerry) of Ellensburg; grandchildren Jessica (Aaron) Munson, Duncan Hansberry, Katlynn Johnson and Dustin Hansberry; siblings Patti (Bill) McHugh, Jim (Linda) Brown, June Privitt and Richard (Pam) Brown. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred and her sister Shirley.
