Brittney Kristine Deter, 21, of Ellensburg, went to heaven to be with her Grandma Madeleine on April 28, 2013.
Brittney lived life to the fullest and embraced every day. She was always surrounded by her friends and family.
Brittney was active in sports while in school. She played basketball, volleyball and soccer. She participated in several equestrian activities such as the Ellensburg Posse Junior Rodeo, EWJRA, BRN4D, NBHA and KCBR. The outdoors is where you would find Brittney. She enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping, trail riding, skiing, sunbathing, dancing and hiking the ridge to go see her Grandma (Mormor).
During her life she touched so many lives and continues touching people's lives as a donor. Her beautiful eyes now give sight to a special person. Many others will benefit from the precious gift of life that Brittney gave as an organ donor.
Brittney leaves behind a beautiful and faithful little sister, Courtney. They had a relationship of unconditional love which built an unbreakable bond.
She also leaves behind her mother Molly, father Rob, surrogate big sister Kelly, two little brothers, Michael and Jace, Grandma Joyce and her beloved dog, Mia.
Brittney will be missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and universe of friends.
Please join us for Brittney's Celebration of Life on Thursday May 9, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Ellensburg High School.
In Lieu of flowers there has been an account set up 'in memory of Brittney Deter' at Sterling Savings Bank in Ellensburg.
