Dorothy "Dott" Parrish Reed, 88, of Boston, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was the former Dorothy Troutman born in Louisville, a housewife and homemaker. She attended Boston Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry L. "Cub" Reed; her mother, Osie Parrish Troutman; her father, George Lee Troutman; and two sisters, Vivian Smith and Opal Stilger.
Survivors include two sons, Scott (Linda) Reed, of Boston, and Dennis (Laurie) Reed, of Essex, Mo.; a daughter, Debi (Roger) Kime, of Scottboro, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 4 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Kappel Funeral Home, Boston Chapel, in Boston, with burial in Parrish Cemetery in Nelson County. Mike Bradford will officiate.
Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the funeral home.
