Floyd Leo "JR" Vittitow(1935 - 2014)

Floyd Leo "]R." Vittitow , of New Haven, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Springfield Nursing Home & Rehab in Springfield. He was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Culvertown, son of the late Floyd Clarence and Anna Viola Willett Vittitow. He was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in New Haven. He served in the United States Navy.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ivone (Ratliff )Vittitow; seven brothers, Melvin, Ernest, Pat, Raymond, Alben, Bobby and Harold Vittitow; and a sister, Onieda Davila.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Hagan, of Chaplin, and Ronnie Vittitow and Timmy Vittitow, both of Bardstown; two daughters, Brenda (Mike) Nalley, of Bardstown, Becky (Ditter) Cundiff, of Bloomfield; three brothers, John Alvin "Jack" (Anna Marie) Vittitow, of New Haven, Joseph Louis Vittitow, of Louisville, and Joseph William "Billy" (Dreama) Vittitow, of Prospect; four sisters, Mary Juanita Robb, of Bardstown, Mary Louise (Ed) Nalley, of Bardstown, Francis
"Frankie" Willett Vittitow, of Bardstown, Mary JoAnn (Mike) Dalasandro, of Burlington N.J.; three great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial was 10 a.m. Monday June 23, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery in Bardstown. The Rev. Troy Overton officiated.
