William Otis Ma–son, 62, of Bloom–field, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at his residence.
He was a native of Nelson County, a 1969 graduate of Bloomfield High School, a former employee of Humphrey Bros. Hardware, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
He was the son of the late Charles and Rebecca Duncan Mason and was preceded in death by two sisters; Gail Mason and Alberta Mason; and a brother, Raymond Carroll Maddox.
Survivors include a son; Corey Mason, of Willisburg; a sister, Emma Allaway, of Troy New York; a brother, Charles "Butch" Mason, of Bardstown; one grandchild; and a special friend, Beulah Bishop, of Willisburg.
The funeral was Saturday, Nov. 30, at Bloomfield Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Marshall officiating.
Houghlin Funeral Home in Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.
