Barbara Jean Donahue, 62, Bardstown, Friday May 4, 2012, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born in Manton, retired in 1999 from Owens- Illinois and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul in New Hope. She hand made over a 1,000 in memory bears as a fundraiser for Nelson County Relay for Life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alice McIntyre Kelty. Survivors include her husband, Thomas C. "Tommy" Donahue; her daughter, Melissa Jo (Scott Landram) Newton, Bardstown; a son, Anthony "Tony" Dale (Michelle) Kelty, Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Judy (Borgia) Nalley, Holy Cross, Dorothy (Teddy) Marshall, Bardstown; and a brother, Charles Kelty, Holy Cross. The family has followed her wishes for cremation and a private Mass will be at a later date. Expressions of sympathy has been requested to Hospice of Nelson County, 111 N. Third St., Bardstown, KY. 40004. Greenwell-Houghlin Northside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
